Mikkel Mikkelson

Mikkel Mikkelson is my gg grandfather. He was born in Copenhagen, Denmark on 10/27/1844 and came to the US at age 16. He married Margaret Hendershot and had 3 daughters, Francis who married Isaac Stickle, Carrie who married John Blackford, and Anna Jayne who married William Henry Kice. He worked on the Strawberry farms in Hackettstown. I believe he had a brother John Mikkelson.

Kise/Kice

This is a big wall... There were many Kice/Kise's in Warren,Sussex,and Morris counties, however, we cannot seem to tie them together. Charles Kice was my gg grandfather, his parents were Lydia Teal Swick and William Kice. I believe that William's parents were Henry Kice and Ann Crouse. We are getting closer on this, but still haven't broke thru.
